MTB Bargains
Built as a personal side project to compliment my freestylebmx.com.au website, MTB bargains is one of three free classifieds sites targeted specifically to Mountain bike, Freestyle BMX and BMX racing riders looking to buy, sell or swap gear with other riders.
Users do not have a to be a member to post an ad, they're simply asked to verify their listing via email before it is posted on the site.
The system is designed to be as automated as possible, a cron job runs daily to remove expired or pending member accounts/listings and send out reminders to users if their listing is about to expire.
The site also has a complete advertising system built in allowing commercial advertisiers to purchase banner ads.
